Blackacre: Blackacre is a term from old English law. The terms “Blackacre” and “Whiteacre” were used to differentiate one parcel of land from another, thereby avoiding ambiguity. By representing only one party in a transaction we avoid ambiguity as to who is truly our client, the tenant.
Advisors: The term advisors, also a legal term, refers to one who “assists his client in determining the course of future conduct”. Likewise, we aspire to give our clients expert, forward-looking advice as they make key decisions that are a part of every lease transaction.
Combining these terms remind us of our business philosophy:
to have only one client in each transaction and to represent our clients, not merely broker them.
