A Principal and co-founder of Blackacre Advisors LLC, Terry’s expertise is in the analysis, structuring, and negotiation of office leasing transactions on behalf of the tenant.
With more than 18 years of tenant representation experience, he has assisted his clients in office lease transactions ranging in size from 1,500 to 200,000 square feet. Terry’s clientele has included Fortune 50 companies, mutual companies, national professional service partnerships, quasi-governmental agencies, and closely-held companies. He has assisted his clients with respect to their local, regional, and national locations, representing clients in acquiring office space and the negotiation of new leases as well as in the renewal and restructure of existing leases.
An attorney by training, Terry brings to the negotiating table a keen understanding of the issues and an attention to detail. Having previously worked at both a boutique firm and a large national brokerage house, he understands both the importance of assembling and being a part of a team and the necessity of treating client service as a personal responsibility.
Terry is a member of the Illinois Bar as well as a licensed real estate broker in several states. He received a B.A. in liberal arts and finance from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He is also a member of CoreNet Global and the Illinois State Bar Association.
