Terry Beal is a Co-Founder and Principal of Blackacre Advisors, a commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in office leasing transactions and represents tenants exclusively. Terry co-founded the firm with Don Wenig in 2000.

Raised on a southern Illinois farm, Terry earned a B.A. in Finance and Liberal Arts at the University of Illinois. After moving to the big city, he received a J.D. from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.

Terry is a member of the Illinois Bar. He is also a licensed real estate broker in seven states. In 2009, Terry became an accredited LEED AP, one of few real estate brokers to receive this credential. He is currently pursuing a LEED AP Interior Design + Construction (ID+C) specialty credential.

Terry has 20 years of experience in representing tenants in office leasing transactions. He has represented his clients in office lease transactions ranging from 1,500 to 200,000 square feet. Terry has represented Fortune 50 companies, mutual companies, national professional partnerships, and closely-held firms and his clients have included Amoco, Guardian Life, Grant Thornton, and Amica Mutual.

Terry resides in north suburban Chicago with his wife. Some of Terry's favorite pleasures include extra-inning baseball games, manual transmissions, and John Coltrane recordings. As a kid, summer jobs included baling hay, operating a punch press, and selling encyclopedias door-to-door.
