Don Wenig is a Co-Founder and Principal of Blackacre Advisors, a commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in office leasing transactions and represents tenants exclusively. Don co-founded the firm with Terry Beal in 2000.

Born in Chicago and raised in the Chicago area, Don earned a B.A. from DePaul University while working his way through college. Immediately continuing his education in Chicago, Don earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

Don is a member of the Illinois Bar. He is also a licensed real estate broker in multiple states. Don is a member of CoreNet Global, an international association of corporate real estate professionals. Don has contributed to the commercial real estate field by writing various articles and speaking to professional groups.

Don has 19 years of experience in representing tenants in office leasing transactions throughout the country. He has represented clients in office lease transactions ranging from small space start-ups to entire building corporate headquarters for established public and private companies.  Don has represented Fortune 50 companies, mutual companies, publicly-traded and closely-held firms and his clients have included Amica Mutual Insurance, C. H. Robinson, Compass America, Guardian Life, MGIC, Millward Brown USA, Oberweis Asset Management, Rhea + Kaiser Advertising, Rolta TUSC, and Stratigent.

Don resides in west suburban Chicago with his wife and two daughters. Outside of the office, Don is busy keeping up with his daughters and spending time with his family. With spare time, he enjoys running, golf and travel.
